Vacancy Announcement For ACB Director

The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Director at the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).  

The appointment of the ACB Director follows a structured recruitment process overseen by the ministry and finalised by presidential approval. The process begins with a public advertisement inviting applications from qualified Malawians. After receiving applications, the ministry conducts a shortlisting exercise to identify suitable candidates.  

Shortlisted applicants undergo interviews to assess their competence and integrity. The ministry then submits a list of recommended names to the President of the Republic of Malawi, who makes the final appointment to ensure the bureau’s leadership is secured.  

The appointed director serves a three-year contract, renewable once, subject to satisfactory performance.
